Summer Family Portrait Session | The Manning Family | General Field, Groton, Massachusetts

I absolutely loved working with the Manning Family this past summer!  It was a perfect warm, golden summer evening at General Field in Groton, MA and we had the location all to ourselves.  However, we had not originally planned to meet at that location.  We had discussed the castle or possible views of Gibbet Hill (both of which are beautiful!).   But, after I talked to Jacklynn more, I learned that dreamy golden light was very important to her for family portraits.  She wanted that warm summer “vibe” and liked the idea of tall grasses.  So, that’s exactly what we did!  She wore a beautiful coral colored summer sundress and her boys all wore summer khaki and white.  I love that Jacklynn came with some posing ideas of her own and had a true vision for what she wanted.  It’s this type of collaboration that helps families creates a wonderful family portrait session experience.  These are your memories to cherish for a lifetime, and I’m grateful to capture them for you!  xo
